Northwestern Children's Theatre Tour

Imagination Express: The Northwestern Tour!!!

We are home to one of the most cool touring shows anywhere (OK, so maybe we're biased here since both of the homepage maintainers are currently in, or have been in the touring show).

This year, NU proudly presents the world premier production of Aurand Harris' latest masterpiece, The Orphan Train.

The show tells the stories of numerous orphans shipped from the streets of New York and other Eastern cities, toward the mid-west where they were adopted by people. This is based on real life testimonies given by persons on the orphan train.

Our production made it's premier the weekend of March 1, 1996 and was quite successful. In the spring, the show tours annually to area elementary, middle, and high schools (depending on the nature of that year's particular show).

Soon, we will have booking information on our touring show for the coming years. (very soon, I promise!)

Here is a publicity photo of Michael Cotter as Uncle Andrew in a production of "The Magician's Nephew" by Aurand Harris. This was the Northwestern touring show production for the Spring of 1995.
